Pranav Adani has followed suit with the other innovators of the Adani Group like Gautam and Rajesh Adani. After joining the group business in 1999, Pranav now heads the agri-business and oil and gas verticals as the Managing Director. Known for his business development initiatives and follow-ups, he manages the global coal opportunities and real estate arm of the Group as well.
An alumnus of the President Management Program of the Harvard Business school, Pranav holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration from the University of Boston. He is a part of the CII’s National Council on Fast Moving Consumer Goods and Indian Industry’s National Council on Agriculture.
The joint venture with the Wilmar Group from Singapore – Adani Wilmar owes its success from a single refinery to a company that supplies oil across India to Pranav’s efforts. One of the most famous brands of oil in India – Fortune is owned and managed by Adani Wilmar.
Pranav’s portfolio extends with infrastructure in logistics and futuristic integrated grain storage systems. The Group’s policy of national development has been aided by Pranav’s work on the infrastructure development. The initiatives have inspired the state and the central government to adopt similar policies in food management. The association with the public-sector stem from the same, leading to onshore and offshore exploration projects in oil and gas. The venture, namely Adani Welspun, is managed by none other than Pranav Adani himself.
When it comes to Adani Gas Limited, Pranav’s leadership has formed gas distribution projects in Vadodara, Khurja Faridabad, and Ahmedabad. These projects have made Adani Gas the largest private player in India.
The Group’s ventures into coal and logistics managed by Pranav Adani have established it as India’s fastest growing resource and infrastructure company. The group’s operations around the globe have created security of the supply for coal to the power plants in India. Finally, under the guidance of the entrepreneur, the real estate arm of the group is handling projects in Gurgaon, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad.
